Our
Motto Today
our motto could well be "Diversity with Unity." We are united by our religious
values: love, truth, service to others, compassion, peace, justice, reverence
for life. Each person is encouraged to have a deep relationship with the Sacred.
We are diverse in many ways: ages, life styles, multi-faceted theologies. We have
Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Humanists, Hindus, Pagans and others worshipping
together. We
are a community of young, old, gay, straight, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, native
American, and transgendered people.

Asking
the Big Questions As
the senior minister at the Unitarian
Universalist Church of San Diego has written: "We
encourage you to ask the big questions of life. What do my life and death mean?
How do I live with integrity? How can I love well? What gifts of service can I
bring to help the world heal?"
"We seek to change the world by living lives of wisdom, compassion, and tolerance.
We come together in friendship to help raise wise and compassionate children,
to support each other in our spiritual journey, to heal life's wounds, and celebrate
life's triumphs."
We
hope that you will join us in our spiritual journey. |
